DYNAMO is seeking a dedicated and energetic Bar Coordinator to join our small, cosy team. Our café/bar serves guests during our performances, when we aim to offer a vibrant social atmosphere for our audiences. 

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
As the Bar Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing our bar and café on show nights. You’ll be responsible for keeping the bar running smoothly, consulting with our administrator regarding the bar budget, ensuring inventory is stocked, and maintaining a clean and welcoming space. This role also includes recruiting and training volunteers to help during busy events like festivals. 

The DYNAMO bar is open an hour before each show and closes ca. two hours after the show, so the position also involves watching the performances that we present, which we consider to be a great perk of the job! 🙂 

What we’re looking for: 

• We’re looking for a “people person” with an open, friendly attitude, and strong communication skills in Danish. We’re a very international house, so English will be used a lot.
• Organisational skills and ability to work independently are important
• Previous experience in a bar or café environment is a plus, but enthusiasm and a readiness to learn are most important.
• Ability to take initiative and make improvements to keep the bar running efficiently.
• Comfortable managing varying shifts, including during busy festival days or special events.

Work Schedule & Location.
The bar is open only during showtimes, with varying shifts depending on our performance schedule. Most performances play in the evenings, but we sometimes have afternoon shows and weekends. Expect approximately 30 hours per month, with more intense shifts during festivals and larger events.

The location is Finlandkaj 6, 5000 Odense.
