In collaboration with Log Ladies, we are offering a carpentry workshop, custom designed to promote better access for women, trans- and non-binary people within the handiwork sector! We are now calling for 10 participants to join the two-day workshop, where you’ll be part of the team building furniture and decoration for the upcoming DYNAMO Circus Festival!
The workshop puts emphasis on sharing skills within carpentry, woodworking, using power tools, and teamwork, but also togetherness, community and creating new friendships. Participation is open to everyone no matter gender, nationality, religion, or ethnic background.
No prior carpentry experience is required. All you need is a desire to learn!
Dates:
Monday 26th May kl. 15.00 – 16.30: Lecture on Inclusion and diversity in the woodworking sector (in English/Danish*) + Introduction with registered participants (in English/Danish*)
Thursday 29th May kl. 13.00 – 19.00: Workshop Day 1 (In Danish/English*)
Friday 30th May kl. 13.00 – 19.00: Workshop Day 2 (In Danish/English*)
*The language of the event depends on the participants. English-speaking participants are welcome!
Participation is free of charge, but we expect that you attend all 3 workshop days. Dinner is provided.
