What does it mean to become a mother?

W.O.M.B illuminates the pain, the change, the happiness and the inner and outer transformation that motherhood entails. On stage is a percussionist and three dancers and mothers, each from their African and Afro-diasporic cultures.

Through dance, they show both vulnerability and strength, and explore different cultural perspectives on motherhood based on their personal stories.
