A circusnext work in progress presentation by Jakob Jacobsson!
Using aerial rope, movement tempo, and light design as central aesthetic techniques to convey the experience of time relativity, Jakob invites the audience to personally reflect on their own relationship to the passing of time.
In the artist’s own words: “INSOMNIA is inspired by the liminal spaces in which time flows at uneven paces, and the subjectivity of time when we find ourselves in them. It is a performance that utilises the physical languages of vertical rope and light design in order to suspend the audience in the sensation that time is not exactly what it seems.”
Join us for a work in progress presentation and talk with the artist on Friday 28th February from 17.00!
