Karoline Aamås presented the solo work THE PREGNANT ROPE CLIMBER at DYNAMO in 2023 while she was 7 months pregnant with her first child. Seeing a heavily pregnant circus performer floating in the air in her rope and with her pregnant belly called for respect, compassion, fear, applause and tears.

Now she is back with a circus cabaret with 5 artists on stage – all for 6-8 months, and all ready to challenge our understanding of gender, strength, physical ability, care and community
