After three years, Rumpistol returns to Odense – this time taking over the stage at Dynamo with his ensemble, blending electronic soundscapes with jazz, space rock, and neoclassical music, illuminated by a cosmic light show from the Reumert Award–winning lighting collective Vertigo.

On February 27, Rumpistol and a star-studded lineup of musicians will fill Dynamo with the large-scale audiovisual work NEBULA – a tribute to the universe.

The music is based on Rumpistol’s latest album Nebula, which has been widely praised for its cinematic fusion of electronic music, melodic jazz, space rock, and neoclassical elements – alongside selections from across his extensive back catalogue.

Vertigo brings an impressive lighting scenography to the concert, creating a cosmic tapestry of black holes and stardust. Known for their ambitious light installations, scenography, and immersive experiences, Vertigo have previously collaborated with Den Sorte Skole, Hotel Pro Forma, DR, and Roskilde Festival.

Since the release of After The Flood in 2020, Rumpistol has explored humanity’s relationship with itself, with others, and with the unknown. This journey has led to concerts both in Denmark and abroad, ranging from intimate venues to the opening of Strøm Festival at Bremen Teater in 2025.

The concert on February 27 will be a standing event, allowing the space to open up for dance, pulse, and cosmic energy.

This concert is part of the concert series ‘Øjne & Ører’ in collaboration with the film festival OFF Spring.
