BLOODY MOON by Dansk Danseteater is a sensual and exuberant dance performance, filled with humor, where a group dances their last dance, while embracing life in all its glory. They are aware of the end of life and are struck by a dizziness towards the abyss.
The performance is both a fireworks display into ecstasy and an examination of the animalistic sides of man – with madness and a twinkle in the eye.
Presented in collaboration with Theater Momentum; plays at DYNAMO.
REVIEWS:
SCENEBLOG: DDT’s fantastic company can dance the pants off anyone, and in Marina Mascarell’s choreography, that’s exactly what happened. (…) It doesn’t get more beautiful than this. ★★★★
DAGBLADET INFORMATION: DDT’s nine dancers in Bloody Moon are ‘bloody good.’ They dance with both technique and temperament.
UNGT TEATERBLOD: Bloody Moon has something uplifting, almost silly, about the serious and sharp lines from the dancers. ★★★★
DEN 4. VÆG: Bloody Moon completely blew me away… The work is, in a way, wildly un-Danish in its grandeur and colorfulness. And it’s just insanely hot and wonderfully life-affirming.
