Do good ideas just happen on their own, or how much of a good idea is down to luck versus hard work? Can you plan to have good ideas, and how do you know which ones are worth investing your time in? This “Kickstarter” session is all about the good idea. It’s not about talent or inspiration, but rather the processes and methods used to generate ideas.

ABOUT THE GUESTs
ELIAS SADAQ
Elias Sadaq is an author and playwright. He made his literary debut in 2019 with the poetry collection Gadestreger, which he published independently. Since then, Sadaq has focused primarily on drama, including the adaptation of his own poetry collection Djinn—published by Gyldendal in 2024—for the stage. Furthermore, he has adapted Selma Lagerlöf’s The Phantom Carriage (Køresvenden) for Aarhus Teater. In the autumn of 2026, his work will be featured in Faust at Betty Nansen Teatret and Moseloven at Teater Momentum, alongside the release of Befri Min Djinn through the publisher Arkiv For Detaljer.
Sadaq has received a number of awards and grants, including support from the Danish Arts Foundation.
MARIE QVIST
Marie Qvist is a cultural entrepreneur from Kolding, currently happily based in Aarhus. Over the years, she has worked on everything from underground festivals, tours, and installation exhibitions to stage management and educational programs. She is consistently driven by a passion for creation—always in essential collaboration with inspiring friends and partners, a list that now encompasses a wide range of Danish cultural organizations, including UMTO, JazzHaus, Dansk Live, and The Danish National Opera (Den Jyske Opera). Furthermore, Marie serves as an Advance Production Manager at Aarhus Volume and spends a significant part of the summer working at various Danish festivals.
