Merri Heikkilä (FI), Jakob Jacobsson(SE) and Bjarni Arnason(IS) are joining this residency to work on their upcoming performance – Happy Hour. The performance premieres in DYNAMO on 1st February, with additional shows on 2nd and 3rd February 2024. More info here.

About the performance

This project is about creating a new circus show using the collective northern perspective of the artists about the unique and quirky ways northerners use alcohol in social contexts, as well as other interactions that are inherently northern. The show will look at everything from the way we go to clubs in -25°c, to more traditional topics, like snappsvisor and midsummer celebrations. This show looks at these situations and interprets them with honesty, but also with humour and abstraction through circus.
