In this DYNAMO residency, Danish company Out of Balanz worked to finish production and premiere their performance Turbulence.

About the performance

Turbulence is a circus performance about climate, migration, and what it means to feel at home. The performance examines the effects of climate change on ordinary people and the bodily experience of being on the run. Here, five circus artists are put into a physical battle, where the survival strategy requires them to constantly move their base. Their center of acrobatic expression is set in motion and challenged, and they must invent new ways of acting in order to survive.
