About the performance

Experimental, physical and satirical circus performance. YES PERSON is a circus performance that celebrates ideas that are too crazy and wild to be brought to life, but which are also too fantastic not to be explored. Inspired by the expression “kill your darlings”, YES PERSON delves into the crazy rejected ideas. In an inventive and humorous way, the performance unfolds the ideas and breathes new life into them.
A work in progress presentation took place in DYNAMO in December 2025 and the performance returned for a danish premiere in April 2026. Photos by Cosmin Cirstea

About the company

Based on Kimberly is a circus company based in Finland, funded and run by Imogen Huzel and Inka Pehkonen. Their mission is to pursue a bold, unpretentious vision of what circus can be. They create using available resources and any medium that best serves their ideas. Their work emerges from a playful, punk, and politically left perspective. Themes often include feminism, freedom of speech, community, sexuality, and gender. They embrace a clown mentality, blending humor, absurdity, and tragedy. With a focus on female-identifying artists, they foster space for experimentation, expression, and critical dialogue.
