About the company

DON GNU creates action theatre and dance, combining the two in a playful and poetic universe.

The company was founded in 2010 by choreographers Jannik Elkær and Kristoffer Louis Andrup, who jointly serve as its artistic directors. Today, DON GNU is one of Denmark’s most extensively touring companies. In addition to performing widely across Denmark, the company has toured internationally, presenting performances throughout much of the world, including all the Nordic countries, South Korea, Canada, large parts of Europe, and Cuba.
