Dynamo Workspace Branchedag and Women in Circus Consortium
Dynamo Workspace and Nordic Women in Circus Network (NWCN) collaborate to present a professionals day and 4th edition of Women in Circus Consortium during Dynamo Circus Festival 2019 and invite artists, performers, producers and professionals of all genders to meet in Odense in conjunction with the festival.
Dates: August 8th-9th, Odense, Denmark
The programme is a mix of lectures, workshops, talks and performances. You’ll have access to lectures on circus bodies and norm creativity, acro-dance workshop, shows and networking events which span areas of concern for the circus artists today!
These events run in parallel and are overlapping, as a participant you therefore have several options to sign up and participate.
Everything is free unless specified. All sessions in English unless specified.

10.30 – 11.00 Arrival and coffee
11.00 – 12.00: Women in Circus Consortium Kick Off Meeting
12.00 – 13.00: Lunch – Café Kosmos vegan food (self-paying)
13.00 – 13.10: Welcome by Gry Lambertsen, Artistic Director Dynamo Workspace.
13.10 – 14.30: The circus body as site for norm-creativity.
Conversational Workshop Signe Løve Anderskov on pregnancy as a circus artist
14.30 – 15.00: Coffee Break
15.00 – 16.30: Workshop – practical and strategic fundraising for circus & performing arts.
Organised in collaboration with Udviklingsplatformen for Scenekunst.

16.30 – 17.00: Coffee Break
17.00 -18.30: ‘Fuck-up talks’ – 3 personal stories about accidents from the circus life, followed by a debate.
Talks by circus artists Joel Degerfeldt, Karolina Tamara Wojtowicz and producer Lina B. Frank.
18.30 – 20.00: Dinner at Storms Pakhus Street Food Market.
(5 min walk from meeting rooms) (Self-paying aprox. €13)
20.00- 21.15: Performance lecture: The Cloud Jump by Saloranta & de Vylder.
Free of charge for participants in the professionals day and Women in Circus Consortium.
21.15 – 23.00: Mingle & drinks at the festival site.
Day 2: Friday the 9th
A day starting with Dance Acro workshop and at 15:30 come down to the Dynamo site and join the Dynamo Circus Festival official opening and program of events.

Dynamo offers a ticket deal for participants of WWC and branchedag of 50Dkk
Pay by cash on site on Thursday 8th.
21.00: Micro-bass orchestra concert, mingling and drinks (self-paying drinks)

Registration is open to people of all genders – apart from the Acro-Dance workshop which is open to women and non-binary people only.
