As Key Artist you get:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Key to DYNAMO.
Access to DYNAMO’s training space.
If the Studio is free, you can also train there.
Access to a dynamic house, with many Danish and international guest artists.
Free use of DYNAMO’s circus rigging and circus equipment.
Membership to the association The Circus Playground, which gives discount to events, workshops, etc.
Access to DYNAMO’s kitchen.

20% discount for a DYNAMO card.  
50% in DYNAMO’s gorilla bar during public events.
Opportunity to join Dynamo for lunch at 12:00-13:00, for 25 DKK per day, 100 DKK for a week, and 350 DKK for a month. Registration is required.
2-4 times a year, The Circus Playground & Dynamo host an Open Stage where it’s possible to try out ideas and acts. Here, you can also volunteer in the organizing group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the Keyartist program is to facilitate a space where professional circus artists can develop their artistic ideas, rehearse for performances, and have their daily\/general training to maintain and develop their technical level, share knowledge, and collaborate with other artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the training space is not a place for longer trial periods with larger groups\/ensembles or setting up larger scenography, but rather a space for your daily training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to become a Key Artist: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be considered professional, you must have professional experience\/activities within circus, vaudeville, street theater, dance, or other physical performing arts that intersect with circus, such as acrobatics or contact improvisation, or a circus\/dance education or similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also become a Keyartist if you’re working towards getting into a higher education circus program or becoming a professional circus artist. However, this requires previous basic training or training in an artistic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since not everyone is expected to have a circus education, DYNAMO assesses each participant individually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expectations of you as a Key Artist:<\/strong>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are responsible for maintaining the training space. This means cleaning up after yourself, helping with vacuuming the acro mats, and other cleaning tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By receiving a key to DYNAMO, you become a part of the house. Therefore, it is expected that you are respectful of the other activities happening at DYNAMO, such as performances and residencies, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
