{"id":7352,"date":"2023-03-06T16:14:54","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T15:14:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dynamoworkspace.dk\/?page_id=7352"},"modified":"2025-03-19T12:17:57","modified_gmt":"2025-03-19T11:17:57","slug":"open-call-60secondscircusfilms-a-circus-film-competition","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dynamoworkspace.dk\/en\/for-artists-2\/open-call-60secondscircusfilms-a-circus-film-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"60secondscircusfilms, a circus film competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>60secondscircusfilm is a new international competition for circus films with the duration of only one minute, initiated by DYNAMO Workspace and OFF \u2013 Odense International Films Festival in Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SCREENING AND AWARD EVENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition has reached its third edition in 2025, when we also partner with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.circus-dance-festival.de\/en\/\">Circus Dance Festiva<\/a>l in Cologne, to screen the top 5 selected films in the competition.<br>The long-listed films will be screened at DYNAMO Circus Festival (June 2025) and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/filmfestival.dk\/\">Odense International Film Festival<\/a>&nbsp;(August 2025), where the award ceremony also takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner receives a prize og 1,000 Euro and a statuette, as well as invitation to the screening at OFF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THEME<\/strong><br>\u201cCircus\u201d can be widely interpreted: As artistry, ideas, inspiration, narrative, wild physicality and hugely specific details. Just as contemporary circus itself, the 60secondscircusfilms-competition is free from restrictions and genre-definition, but instead asks you to be creative and curious towards the opportunities the mash up between film media and circus art present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What happens when the circus body enters the screen? Which opportunities arise when highly specialized tricks meet the ability to bend time?
