DYNAMO Circus Festival is the place where we meet \u2013 artists from all over the world, families with children with a craving for fun and mischief, curious audiences with a taste for the quirky, performing arts aficionados, party-loving Funen residents, tourists who are blown away by excitement, and the harbor\u2019s many users and happy neighbors.<\/span><\/p>

Four days where community is at the center, and where we celebrate together everything that circus can be \u2013 wild, moving, boundary-pushing and playful!<\/span><\/p>

The first edition of DYNAMO Circus Festival took place in August 2017, just half a year after the opening of DYNAMO.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The festival was born out of the wish to share world-class circus from all over the world with the people of Odense. Over the years, the festival grew into a staple of Nordic events within the circus world, and a hub for professionals, artists, creators, and programmers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Our festival is a celebration of contemporary circus, a recognition of the outstanding art that is being created in our field, and an invitation to you, our audience, to let yourself be inspired, moved, surprised.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Our festival has a DYI approach and very specific mood and aesthetic, inspired by the world of circus – on the move, wild, uncompromising, making the best out of every situation. We have a dedication to sustainability and reusing materials, so the atmosphere at the festival is based on upcycling and recycling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

DYNAMO Circus Festival 2025 was supported by Statens Kunstfond, Odense Kommune, Region Syddanmark, Spar Nord Fonden and William Demant Fond<\/p>
