Noa Aubry’s residency is part of the circusnext project, in which her performance L\u00e0 o\u00f9 la nuit n\u2019est pas si loin puisque le jour s\u2019en va d\u00e9j\u00e0<\/strong> \/ Where night is not so far away because the day is already leaving <\/strong>is a 2024 laureate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sensory experience inspired by the movement of waves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where the night is not so far since the day is already fading<\/em> explores time and the traces it leaves behind. Using the German wheel, Noa Aubry examines resistance to movement to create a slow and repetitive style, mirroring the ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After studying classical guitar at the Conservatoire de Montreuil, Noa Aubry discovered the German wheel and pursued circus arts at ENACR and then CNAC. Where the night is not so far since the day is already fading<\/em> is Noa’s first creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am just a body under the waves, alternately revealing and hiding the parts. You take them in turn as a ME. But they all make up me; my body is as vast as the ocean, and ME is a WE.
